One day Bobbie Jean walked into an empty room and all of a sudden the fragrance of sweet smelling roses hit her. Then suddenly a complete song just came to her. Sweeter than the roses was the name of the song and the Lord had blessed her with this gift. Not only could she smell the roses, but she could feel the Lord's presence all around her as she has felt on a number of occasions and still feels today.
Her salvation came when she was driving with her family at night. Her daughter looked up and saw a strange looking star. She called it the Granny's star. Bobbie Jean looked up and saw the star changing shape. It came closer and closer in the form of a crucifix. From then on she was in no doubt about her role in this world and the spiritual awakening that she had just gone through.
The country music she composes and performs is filled with the passion and authenticity that stands her apart from many others. Her songs celebrate the Lord of hosts and she passes on his message of love and salvation.
